Who We Are

 

The Milford Garden Club are individuals from Pike County and the Tri-state area who share a love of plants and gardening, a dedication to civic beautification and an interest in conservation, horticulture, and education. Community activates include planting and maintaining many planters and flower beds throughout Historic Milford.

Membership Meetings are held the second Tuesday of March – December 1:00-3:00PM at St. Patrick’s Church Hall on E. High and 4th Streets in Milford, PA to share experiences, plan events, expand horticultural knowledge, and hear authoritative guest speakers.  Monthly Hostess Committees organize a light tea/lunch of savory and sweet finger foods.

The objectives and purposes of the club are: The study of horticulture and related subjects: the pursuit of projects contributing to the beautification of the Borough of Milford; the initiation and/or participation in other appropriate community or regional service projects and activities, including cooperating and joining with other organized groups engaged in the promotion of horticultural or beautification projects, conservation of natural resources, environmental protection and like objectives.
