President’s Message

Dear Members,

Once again, we enjoy the blessing of another year of learning, sharing, gardening, laughing, traveling and most of all enjoying the company of one another as the Milford Garden Club. We have a full palette of opportunities for you to enjoy—everything from lectures to perennial plant exchanges to field trips to flower shows, and of course, beautification. Hopefully, there is something for everyone to participate in and enjoy.  I offer you this mantra for planting the garden of your daily living:

Plant three rows of “peas”:

Peace of Mind

Peace of Heart

Peace of Soul

Plant four rows of “squash”:

Squash Gossip

Squash Indifference

Squash Grumbling

Squash Selfishness

Plant four rows of “lettuce”:

Let us Be Faithful

Let us Be Kind

Let us Be Patient

Let us Really Love One Another

No garden is complete without “turnips”:

Turn up for Meetings

Turn up for Service

Turn up to Help One Another

To conclude, in our garden we must have “thyme”:

Time for Each Other

Time for Family

Time for Friends

Water freely with patience and cultivate with Love. There is Much Fruit in Your Garden Because Your Reap What You Sow!
