March 12: "Good Bugs/Bad Bugs" - This program will help gardeners understand the benefits that some bugs offer in our gardens, and the concerns we should have about the others. Betsy Hawes is a Master Gardener from Orange County's Cornell Cooperative Extension.
April 9: "Back Yard Birds and Butterflies" - An information slide presentation about the various birds and butterflies that complement our gardens and yards. Sheri Bone is a speaker recommended by the PEEC.
May 14: "Dahlias" - A screen presentation offering everything you'd like to know about Dahlias. Daniel Kavenaugh, often called "The Dahlia Man", is a member of the Artful Gardeners and has been Vice President of the American Dahlia Society, Vice President of the N. J. Society of Dahlias, and a former President of the Long Island Dahlias Society.
June 11: "An Overview of Beekeeping" - An informational presentation about bees, including a live bee hive. Jeff Styles owns a farm and Apiary in Beach Lake, PA where he keeps bees and produces his honey. He's a local businessman who owns and runs "The Print Shop of Milford", aside from maintaining his Pennsylvania farm. He has lectured for local organizations throughout PA.
July 9: "Meeting at Grey Towers - Ms. Beth Hawke will speak.
August 13: "The Application of Flower Designs in Quilting" - Ms. Gene Hoff, of the Milford Garden Club, will show us some of the quilts that have been created using flowers in their patterns.
September 10: “Plants for Winter Interest” by Master Gardeners of Cornell Cooperative Extension Orange County.
October 8: Annual Business Meeting
November 12: “Extending the Garden Season” by Master Gardeners of Cornell Cooperative Extension Orange County.
